Thankful For You

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share. 

I used the Diana-Sweater Weather stamp set for my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mats cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.

I stamped and colored Diana with Copic Markers and I glued her to a white mat cut from the Goody Bag Die.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Fall stamp set onto a decorative mat cut from the Label Shape Dies.

Theme Week - Trip

Hello friends;)Eunji here.Today is our Theme Week.I made using our new Rae Wanderlust stamp set.Let's take look at my card.

I started stamping a lady image stamp on maker paper.

And colored with Copic Sketch maker and added more details using color pencil and pigment white pen.Then fussy cut leaving thin border.Next I stamped one more on plaid paper with black ink then fussy cut.Next drew a background.I imaged the Paris trip so I drew the Eiffel tower.Lastly the lady image paper piece adhered to the card panel with foam tape and stamped a sentiment stamp with black ink.

To Brighten Your Day

Hey there, Nicole here from "teachdanz".  I am sharing a card I made for the current Theme Week Challenge.  This challenge is all about plaid!!

It seems like plaid has made a comeback in the paper crafting arena with so many designer paper pads themed around plaid.  I used some papers from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper pad for my card.  

I used "Katy - without the rain" for my focal point.  The sentiment is from a discontinued stamp set I had in my stash.  

I paper pieced the umbrella and the rain jacket and colored everything with copic markers.  I did a little inking with distress inks and embellished with some sequins in my collection.  I hope you will join us in this month's challenge.  You have until December 8th to link up a project in the Facebook group HERE.  

Theme Week Challenge #23 Make Your Own Plaid Pattern

Hello everyone, it's Ellen here with another theme week inspiration. This time (as you know already) it's all about the plaid pattern. On this post I will only focus on the coloring. In four easy steps I will show you how you can make your own plaid pattern on certain spaces on your image.

1. The image that you see is "Rae Wanderlust". First I color Rae's suitcase with my Copic Markers C5, C3, C2 and C0 to add some shading.

2. With T7 I color some strokes that is the start of my plaid pattern. As you can see I use the wide nip of my marker and try to space the lines evenly (you can make measurements if you like that)

3. Now you repeat step two, but with vertical lines.

4. At the end I fill the plaid pattern with some red strokes with the R27 Copic Marker. As you can see I also used a ruler to make the lines straight.

Hello! It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over on the Stamp Anniething blog.  It's another Theme Week Challenge and this weeks theme is "Mad About Plaid". 

Love plaid papers!!!  I used the Winter Perfectly Plaid Paper Pad by Lawn Fawn on my card.  Coloring Brooke to match made for a fun birthday card!!
