Mermaid Birthday Wishes

Hi there!  Nicole here today with a Mermaid birthday card for you using "Audrina - make a splash".

This was my first time playing with tip color on hair and it was so fun!!  I found the perfect  background from the Silhouette Design Store - #46630.  I added some adhesive gems to the swirls for a bit more pop.  I used my Copic markers to color in my mermaid and my sentiment is embossed and is from an older  Cardz TV Stamps set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Splashy Hello

Hi there, it's Ellen here! Although summer is almost over, still it's good weather and so perfect to share a happy summer card with the "Audrina - Make a Splash".

I thought brown an purple where the perfect colors for this cutie. Copic Markers helped me coloring this mermaid. For the pearls in her hair I used Nuvo glitter drops and glossy accents where used on her eyes. The extra shine really adds somehting special.

To mimic a bit of the water I used distress ink to make the background and an embossing plate with weird triangles. Of course a bow and the cute sentiment couldn't be missing too.

That was it already... Have a mermazing day!

Molly with her Sunflower

Hi Everyone - it's Christine from Cards By Christine here today to share with you a card I made using the fabulous Molly Sunflower.

As always with Stamp AnnieThing images, she was a joy to colour.  The stamps are of such great quality which makes the lines really clear and perfect for whichever colouring medium you choose to use.  I chose my Copics - and added a little pale blue shading around her to make the image really pop.  I use B0000 and B000 for this.

I used a paper with clouds for the background, together with a green paper for the hillside.  I finished off the a diecut sun from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks for dropping by - be sure to pop back tomorrow for more fab inspiration!

Happy Day!

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share.
I used the Rae-Simple Pleasures stamp set for my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mat cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.
I added decorative mats to the background with the yellow being cut with the Goody Bag Die.
I stamped Rae and half paper pieced/half colored her with Copic markers, adding her on pop dots.
I cut the side scallop using the Border Dies and added some twine with a button.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Trudy-Happy Day stamp.

I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Out On A Limb

Happy Saturday everyone!!
Laura here, taking over the blog for today to share my most recent Chibi Kid card with you!

I took some time off during July when Tony - Let's Hang Out was released, so this is the first chance I've had to color him up! I just love him!!!

I used a little scrap of Doodlebug Day to Day paper for the edge of the card, and sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the white side. Tony is colored with Copics and popped up in front of the blue backdrop.

That's all I have for today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

You're A Star

Hi there!!  Nicole here from teachdanz with a fun card to share with you today.  You might be able to guess by the name of my blog that I am a dance teacher! ;) so when I saw this sweet image from Paige, Shall We Dance I knew I had to have it!!

I colored her costume in a traditional ballet pink scheme and then added the blue background to help make the pink stand out more.  The star sequins were something I had in my stash and they fit the color scheme perfectly.  The sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

Sheers With A Coconut Drink

Hi crafters, it's Ellen here. I am really excited to be sharing this new Stamp AnnieThing card. I was in love with this "Vanessa Coconut Drink" from the first time I saw her and really wanted to make a cute summer card with her.

With distress inks I created this beach scene and colored the Vanessa with copic markers. I would like to emphasize that it is very fun to decorate that hair band. I used some sequins and glued enamel dots in the middle of them. It gives the girl something extra cute, don't you think?

That was is already for today. See you soon with another card!

Kelly is reading her favourite book...

Hi There Peeps...

Christine here with you today, to share my card using the gorgeous Kelly - this is Kelly - Book (for obvious reasons).  It makes the perfect card to send to a young girl that enjoys her reading or is studying for an exam...

I fussy cut Kelly so that she could appear to be lying on the border I used - I always find fussy cutting therapeutic... hope you do too.  Pink is my favourite colour so I just had to go for a pink background...  and I added some sequins just for a little bit of sparkle.  I can never find just 'the right' place to put sequins and tend to spend about 30 mins trying them in different places.... do you do that too?

Card Info:
Paper - Bo Bunny
Die - Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border
Copics
Hemp Cord and Sequins

Hope you like what I did and that you'll pop back tomorrow to see more fabulous inspiration from the team..

Happy Crafting..
