Thanks

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.

I used the Krissy- Fall Leaves stamp to create my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and stamped the image onto a rectangle mat cut with the Shaker Basics 1 die.
I colored Krissy with Copic Markers and used a white gel pen for the highlights.
To finish, I added the decorative corners to the mat cut with the Corner Edger Dies and double matted the Thanks Word Die.

I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Trying new things - Creative Colour Placement

Hi Friends
Right now with everything going on and being unable to work, I decided to try something new. I recently showed a project I had done to Jennifer Dove who runs Copic Bootcamp. She loved what I had done but wanted to push me to go outside of my comfort zone. She wanted me to try creating my own face on one of Ann's images by using Creative Colour Placement.

I wanted to do some no line colour with copics as well. First I masked off the face on the image (Holly -Cheer Up) and then stamped the image with Birch Stamp Anniething hybrid ink

This is what the original image looked like next to the image where I practiced Creative Colour Placement...Now I will admit that my partner is a little freaked out by this image and in a way I can see that but the purpose of this exercise is to try something new and step outside of that box I have been in for the last little while. Even though those who I have showed it to have had mixed reactions to this, I am still proud of it and proud of myself. I tried something new and as a result I have grown as a colourist. In these times when we are stuck in our homes and the world is feeling a little scary and small, now is the perfect time to expand your horizons and try something new...learn new things and have fun with it.

I hope you are all safe and well, and I encourage you to use this time to be extra creative...try something new.

Until Next Time - Stephen

Mermaid Thanks Card

Hi everyone! This is Tina from The Scrappin Rabbit blog and I have a project to share for the new challenge over on the Stamp Anniething FB page. The new theme is "Anything Goes Using A Die!"

Here is what I made:

First I used alcohol inks to create an ocean background. Next, I stamp and embossed my favorite Stamp Anniething Audrina Make A Splash stamp. I colored her with Copics and although it is hard to tell I added lots of sparkle to the pearls in her hair.

Then I cut out the Thanks Die three times. Once in purple and teal glitter card stock and a third time with black card stock. This made it nice and sturdy and very sparkly! Finally I added a few aqua and teal colored sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will join in on the challenge. Be sure to upload your project over on facebook. Have a great day :)

Thanks So Much!!!

Hi Friends! Stephen here and I have a quick Thank You card to share with you today that you can whip up in no time at all.

I coloured up Brook - Panda with Copic markers. I did some simple ink blended to create the background and then die cut out the "Thanks" word die cut which I then heat embossed the bottom half using gold glitter embossing powder. I finished off my card by adding a few Nuvo drops and a black boarder on my card front to frame my card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Build A Cactus stencil

Hi Friends! Today I created a quick card that requires no colouring whatsoever!! The moment I had the Build A Cactus 1 stencil in my hands, I just knew I had to make a clean and simple card using only it.

All I used on this card was the amazing Stamp AnnieThing Hybrid ink cubes, the Build A Cactus 1 stencil, the Thanks die from Stamp AnnieThing and a feBuild w sequins. This card is quick and simple but so much fun to make.

I hope you liked my card creation for today!
