Love Builds The Warmest Nests!!!!

Hi My Friendly Bloggers!
This is Cindy from Cindy's Scraptastic Designs,  It's my day to post over
 at
Stamp Anniething's!!! Spring is here and I can't wait till all the snow is gone, so for today's post I made a spring card with the sweet set called Rare Bird for the birds and the sentiment from Stamp AnnieThing! and from SVG Cutting Files I used the
Side Cut Card - Zig Zag for my card, the Simple Birdhouse for the cut of the house. From Jaded Blossom I used the Spring Dies 2 for the clouds. The background paper
is DCWV chickadee Stack 6 x 12!!! All the Copic Markers I used on my images today are down below.  Hope you like my card for today!!! :)

Here are all the Copic Markers I used on my images today!!! :)
I scribbled on to a acrylic block using the dark marker BG09, and then picked up a bit of the dark ink using a lighter marker BG23. You will get a great mix of the two and it is nice when you don't have in between colors!!! you will not ruin your markers using this technique. Just make sure to scribble a little bit on the side to take any of the dark ink off!!!
Supplies I Used for my Card:
Paper - DCWV chickadee Stack 6 x 12

The New Release is starting on Wednesday and you don't want to miss it... They are so ADORABLE!!! :)

Thank you for stopping by and have a GREAT week!!! :)

How tweet of you ...

Good morning. Ruza here to share a Clean & Simple (CAS) card with you today.

As I was going thru my stamps I noticed this adorable potted plant in the For Peeps Sake, and just had to make a card for the Clean & Simple Sketch #254. After coloring the potted plant with my Copic Markers, I cut out the circles, distressed the edges, and layered it on my design. I pulled out the sentiment from the Rare Bird stamp set, and added some gems to the edges.

The For Peeps Sake stamp set has so many different images that can be used year round. I hope today's project inspires you to head on over to the store to check out all of the amazing stamps that we have to offer.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Good morning. Ruza here to share a Clean & Simple (CAS) card with you today.

Size: 3-1/2" x 5"

I pulled out the lovely Rare Bird stamp set for today's card. After stamping the birdhouse on Neenah Solar White cardstock, I colored the image with my Copic Markers, and then cut it out to paper-piece on the actual card. The sentiment in the set is perfect for thank you cards, and I know with school starting in 2-weeks I will be needing many of these. After adding the sentiment, I used a 0.3 Black Copic Multi-Liner and ruler to add the faux stitching around the card, and then stamped the birdhouse on the envelope.

This is one card that I plan on reproducing using different cardstock for the background.

The Rare Bird stamp set has so many images and sentiments that are perfect for creating CAS cards. I hope today's project inspires you to head on over to store to check out all of the amazing stamps that we have to offer.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

The bird is super fun to color.. you can let you imagination run wild with this birdy. This is the Tweet Life

Good Morning everyone!  I sure do hope you had a pleasant weekend!
Today Im sharing with you a quick simple, carefree card I made.  I again have to apologize how dark the photos are coming, I live in the SUNSHINE State..but the SUN has not been out in days....nothing but dark dreary weather.  At least I know my summer photos will be much better once the sun starts to shine!

So, for my project today, I created a very SIMPLE saying card.  It utilizes three stamps off our Rare Bird Stamp Set.  One sentiment and 2 images.
I wanted to keep the card as simple as I could, and therefore used as little as possible.
The Card base is a new file to be released later this week from SVG Cutting Files.
The twine is bakers twine
and the stamps are all Stamp Anniething Rare Bird stamp set.
I also stamped the small heart image and placed it in a Jaded Blossom Candy Die (Candy Charms & Banner Die)

I Hope you enjoyed me super SIMPLE card this week.  See you next time around!!

Springtime Note Cards ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share another set of Note Cards that I created with one of the images found in the Rare Bird stamp set, and a sentiment from One Cool Cat. I love designing Note Cards to give as gifts to my daughter's Education Team. There are 8 of them so I design a different set for each person; 2 down ... 6 more to go. So let's have a look ...

Size: 3-1/2" x 5"

I only colored the flowers from the vine with my Copic Markers, and used four different colors. Here is a closer look of each card.

I matched the border to each of the colors that were used on the flowers.

I hope you don't mind my sharing another set of Note Cards. I've been dealing with some family matters, and Tuesday morning was quickly coming up. So late Sunday night I came up with the design for today's project, and I finished the cards yesterday morning. I didn't want the day to go by without providing some inspiration for our followers. Will work on something different for next week. :o)

I hope you have a marvelous week!

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Love Builds the Warmest Nests - Birdhouse Treat Holder

Happy Monday Everyone, Annie here!
Today I am sharing an adorable little project of a birdhouse treat container with our Rare Bird stamp set.

Its been ever so cloudy the past week here in 'sunny' Florida, so I apologize that the photo is a tab bit dark.
I will attempt to get more pics posted up if the sun ever DOES decide to peek out!
I really love how it came out... only wish the photo did it more justice ......
So, how did I make it?  I used all of my favorite things of course!
First I colored up my little bird from the Rare Bird Stamp set
Then I set out to find the prefect paper from my ever ending stash (I choose Woodhaven from Colorbok)
Then I cut out this super cute Birdhouse Treat Box from SVG Cutting Files
and tied it all off with some brown Organza ribbon.
Finishing touches?
I put the Bird on an Action Wobble
and stamped a sentiment onto the Jaded Blossom Flag Die.

The photo really doesnt do it justice at all, its is SO flipping cute in person!
I hope you enjoyed it!

This is the Tweet Life ...

Good morning, Ruza here to share some adorable cards I created using the lovely Stamp Annie*Thing Rare Bird stamp set!

I had so much fun creating this card.  After coloring one of the birds with my Copic Markers I cut it out, then used a couple of the other images in the set on textured cardstock to create the scene in my mind, and colored those images also. The sky was created with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass & Stormy Sky Distress Ink, and a couple cloud dies. I just added the darker distress ink to my dauber and applied it under the cloud die to get the shape of clouds. The lighter color was then applied over the entire textured cardstock which I blended in with the darker color. The final touch was to add some bling and pop on the bird with 3D foam tape.

This is the first time I've tried this technique and I love how it turned out. Here is side view of the card to show the wings in flight. The wings fold flat for mailing.

As stated above, I had fun with this stamp set and couldn't stop with just one card.

This card features a couple of the other images in the Rare Bird stamp set.

Now let me show you the full set ...
