For A Lil Princess

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and it's my day to post a Technique Tuesday at Stamp AnnieThing.
I have a tutorial to share of how I created the cloud background of my card using stencils and dies.

I started this project with a 4 X 5 1/4 inch card mat.
I used distress ink to stencil the background using the Falling Stars Stencil. I used just a corner to get a more spread out design.

After the stars were stenciled, I watered down some ink and splattered it onto the background.
After it was dry, I ink blended the whole background with the same ink. This made it all pink and darkened up the stars and splatters that were already there.
Next I used the cloud die from the Land Of Oz Dies and cut out the mat in 4 pieces.

After I cut out the cloud pieces, I inked the top edges of each strip and glued them together onto a standard A2 card base.
I cut the stars from the Star Card Mat Die and glued them to the background and stamped the sentiment from the Giselle-For A Lil Princess stamp set.
To finish the card I cut out a circle die and frame, inking the framed layer using the same ink as the background.
I stamped Paige-Sugar and Spice into the center of the circle mat along with her crown that I hand cut.
I colored them with Copic Markers and glued the crown to the top of her head.
To finish, I glued the circle frame onto circle mat and added it to the card.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Lets Have An Adventure

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.
I used the Camping Bundle Theme Set to create my card.

I started this card with a slimline card base measuring 8 1/2 X 3 1/2. I created the background with layers cut from the Pyramid Builder Dies for the mountains and the hill layer using the Under The Sea Dies. I used ink to blend all the colors and added a die cut circle behind the mountains for a sun.
I stamped the boy, sign, sentiment, and canteen from the Camping Bundle Theme Set and colored them  with Copic Markers.
For the camper, I used a tutorial to create it found HERE. This was made using all metal dies!

I used the Market Stand Dies to create the window awning and the Haunted House Die for the door.
I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

July's theme is "stars".  Here is what I came up with -

I used the following Stamp Anniething products on my card -

To create my card I did a galaxy background with distress oxide inks and then did some water splatters on top of that.  I then used the Stars and Swirls Stencil and some Nuvo moonstone glimmer paste and applied sections of the stencil to my card.

Theme Week - Stars

Hello my crafty friends!
It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over on the Stamp Anniething blog.
It's another Theme Week Challenge and this weeks theme is "Stars".

I combined two stamp sets to create this card.  I used Madison ~ Be All Kinds of Happy as the main girl and then added the star sparkler and sentiment from Stacey ~ #celebrate.  I also used the stencil Stars & Swirls for the background on the white cardstock.  Great card for any celebration.
