For my card today, I colored up this cute little Kelly - Book because I've been super inspired by reading lately. AND, she happens to be cute too. :) I paired her up with sentiment from the Enchanted set from Jaded Blossom that I thought was so super perfect for this card.

I thought it would be fun to give away as a birthday card for a present that has to do with reading - like a book, a kindle, or a gift card to a bookstore!

or College girls living in our day... LOL

or texting each other. They just watched the first

episode of Game of Thrones: Season 6

Here is what I created for today!

Hello Everyone! Katya Bess, here in honor of
Black History Month and National Heart Month
I chose to make Savannah - Howdy Partner an African American Cowgirl
and my theme color to be red. I chose the dies and papers patterns to
show she can be a cowgirl and feminine too.

I used the Desert Sand ink for a "no-lines coloring" on her hair, skin and lasso with Copic markers:
W5, W7, W9, E13, E15, E17, E33, E35 E18, R21 and R22...
for the clothing I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
 I shaded the red hat and boots with R46 and R35
since the paper is already red
then I fussy cut and paper pieced the clothing.

patterned paper it makes you feel like 

playing paper dolls like when you were a kid 

or play pretend you're a seamstress... 

LOL or is that just me? Teehee yea it's probably just me.

Here she is all dressed up for the Rodeo 

I really love the little details on this stamp such as the

tiny stitching on her hat, skirt and boots- some real fine tailorin'. ;)

Today is my final share day with you for Theme Week.
Today its all about PURPLE!!

Unlike the other cards this week, this is NOT based on the same style as the ones already shown, HOWEVER it is a variation of the one I did yesterday (Blue Liberty), using the Frame Scallop Card Sketch Cutting file!

Using the Framed Scallop Card Sketch Cutting File I stamps Kelly to the card mat base.

I just added some random circles to the side of her and added twine from my stash.

With St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, I decided to use 3 colors of GREEN for my card today.  This is the Stamp Anniething ~ Kelly : Happy. I colored her in with Copic Sketch Markers.  To cut the square background, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Stitched Square Dies.  And to cut the opening, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ Stitched Circle Dies.  To decorate the edge of the circle, I used the Jaded Blossom ~ St. Patrick's Day Dies.  The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Lucky Treats.

Here is what Ann created for today!

Today I choose the color PINK for my project.
You will notice for most of this week, my project layout is the exact SAME, just using different stamps , sentiments and dies.
Again, this is to show you do not need a TON of products in your arsenal to create some fabby projects!

 All my projects this week start with a standard A2 card that I topped off with Card Mat dies.  Next I took my adorable Megan Stamp and stamped her on the Layered Frame & Journal Die.
I added more dies to tie it all together, like the Flowers and leaf from the Spring Dies  and the Mini tag from Mini Tag Dies 2.  Then the Label die just as an added element. The sentiment is from Smell the Flowers.

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a cute Valentine's card to share. 

I used the Loraine-Hello stamp set for my card.

I started this card with the SVG Cutting Files Heart Card 1 base and cut it out with my Cameo.
I omitted the side banners and circle and used a black pen to do the stitching line around the white mat.
I stamped and colored Loraine giving her some balloons I stamped from the Kelly-Happy stamp set. 
I cut her out by hand and mounted her on pop dots to the card.
To finish, I stamped the XOXO from the Jaded Blossom Valentine Signs stamp set.

PArty Time with Kelly

Hello! Mel here with you from Doxie Mel Designs with a new card for you. This is Kelly from the latest January release. She is colored with Copic Markers and I picked a birthday sentiment to go along with her. I was auditioning several options to tie the balloon to her wrist and decided just to grab a journaling marker and draw a string for her to hold. Whew! So glad it worked out :)

Kelly is part of AnnieThing's January 2016 release!  

With Valentines Day next month, we showcased the cards with a "LOVE" theme.

Kelly is so adorable and was so fun to color especially the face and hair. <3 :D 

She comes with a sentiment that reads "happy" but since I didn't want to make a copy 

of my last card I used another Stamp AnnieThing's sentiment from the Wish Big stamp set.

Since she has heart balloons, you can also make it a birthday card or whatever you wish

it doesn't have to be Valentine... I know I have a few friends who are Anti-Valentine

LOL  but NOT me I love it. (Hahaha)

Here is a close-up

of her Cotton Candy colored hair.

(I tried with the transparent balloons... LOL  gotta work on that more.)

Gave her some cute blue jeans shorts, added grass and lightly 

colored around the image to give her a background.

Black Cat Candy

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun treat box to share. 

I used the Kelly-You're Purrfect stamp set for this project.

I started this project with the Jaded Blossom Gable Box and decorated it.
I added the background mat cut with the Stitched Square Dies and added some banners cut with the Flag Dies 2. 
I stamped and half colored/half paper pieced Kelly. I cut her out by hand and pop dotted her to the front of the box.
To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Halloween Signs stamp set and added a bow to the handle.
