Congratulations!

Hi all! It's Meg here today. Don't you just LOVE our new inks and background stamps release?! I think the new products are fabulous!

I especially love the background stamp patterns because to me they are kinda retro. And that is SO IN right now!

For my project, I colored up Eloise - Congratulations. I wanted to make this a wedding card, and the new Abstract Leaves stamps were a perfect background for this!

For my design, I first stamped the teardrop shape in the new Birch ink, then overlaid the leaves in Green Apple.

After coloring up Eloise and attaching her to the card, I had the idea to put a vellum flag panel behind her with the "congratulations" sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment onto the vellum with the new Pecan ink. It is such a nice, rich, thick ink. So, I decided to heat emboss it, and it gave a larger raised surface than typical pigment ink or dye ink.
 So, win-win!

Hop on over to the shop and check out the new products, you'll love 'em!

Bridal Shower Card

Hello there!! Nicole here today with a wedding inspired card to share with you.

I have a very special bridal shower coming up and wanted a special card for the bride to be!!  I created this for my middle daughter who is getting married in less than a month.  I tried to use her wedding color scheme for my card.   The sweet bride image is "Eloise - congratulations".   I tried to add a little bit of sparkle to her using some stickles.   Here is another view so you can see the shimmer ;)

The beautiful paper and flowers are from Recollections and I used a couple of Jaded Blossom products too -

Congratultions - Eloise & Tommy Get Married

Hello Friends! Stephen here from Stampin' Steve. I am popping in today to share a wedding card I made using Eloise - Congratulations as well as Tommy - Way To Go. I wanted to  create a clean and simple shaker card that showcases both these super cute images. I started with a A2 sized card front and adhered a diagonal stripped pattern paper to the left hand side. I then Die cut out the window using the Stitched Dome Frames from MFT. I used the same die and cut out another frame but this time out a white glitter paper. I adhered a piece of clear acetate on the backside of the card front and then glued the glitter frame I cut out on the front. I popped my card front up with a double layer of foam tape onto another piece of card stock that I ink blended some Victorian Velvet Distress Ink on. I filled the card with a bunch of coordinating sequins, prills, and beads.
I coloured Eloise and Tommy with my Copic markers and then adhered them to my card front. I stamped the sentiment that came with Eloise on a a thin piece of paper that I cut into a banner shape. To finish off my card, I added some Nuvo drops around then sentient in the colour Silver Linings.
I hope you like my card creation!

Until next time - Stephen
