Ballerina Birthday Easel Card

Hi folks!!  Nicole here from "teachdanz" with a fun birthday easel card to share with you!   I love making easel cards because they are really easy to make but they look so impressive ;)

I created this card for a friend of mine who also happens to be a dance teacher like myself.  She has gorgeous red hair and I wanted to try and make this sweet ballerina look like her.  I am super happy with the results and will share my color combo with you at the end of the post!

The rest of my color inspiration came from the background papers I chose to use which happen to be from Doodlebug's "Sugar Shoppe" 6x6 paper pad.  This is one of my all time favorites from Doodlebug!  This sweet image - "Paige, Shall We Dance?" - is probably one of my favorite Stamp Anniething images!!  It is hard to pick a favorite from so many wonderful images but the fact that I am a dance teacher may present a bit of a bias ;)!!

As promised here are my copic colors -

Hair - E18, E09, YR27, YR07, YR04
Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20, R32
Tutu - BG10, BG13, BG15, BG18
Tights - R81 with YR00 on top to make them more of a peachy pink
Pointe Shoes - RV23
Shadow - W5, W3, W1

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
