For Someone Sweet

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.

I used the You Drive Me Glazy digital stamp to create my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the circle mat cut with the Shaker Basics 1 circle die.
I cut the flags from the Banner Dies and stamped the sentiment from the Brooke-For Someone Sweet stamp set.
I used some doughnut washi tape on a strip of white cardstock and added it over the bottom of the circle.
I printed and colored the You Drive Me Glazy image with Copic Markers and added it on pop dots.

I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Boo Embossed Web Tutorial

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Circut Bug to share a Technique Tuesday. It's also the start of a new challenge. This month the challenge is "Use A Stencil"

I have a tutorial to share of how I created the embossed web using the Spider Web Stencil.

I started this project with the Spider Web Stencil and embossed it using velum and my Big Shot.

I used the extended mutlipurpose platform base, 2 cutting plates, a rubber embossing pad, and the Spider Web Stencil.

I started my "sandwich" using the
1. extended mutlipurpose platform base
2. cutting plate
3. rubber embossing pad
4. velum
5. the Spider Web Stencil
6. second cutting plate
After creating the sandwich and running it through my Big Shot, I got the embossed web velum. Just another fun way to use your stencils!

After the web was embossed I trimmed it down and inked over the edges with some SAT Moon Rock ink.

For the banner, I cut 3 from the Banner Dies and stamped the letters onto them using the Alphabet stamp set from the It's A Little Strange Grab and Go Box.
I cut a piece of twine and folded each banner piece over the twine and glued down to create the banner.
I cut the circle pieces using the Shaker Basics 1 Die set and stamped and colored Diana- Witching You The Best.
I added all the circles to the card base and then cut it down using a square mat die.
To finish, I glued on the web  and added Diana on pop dots.

I hope you all liked my project for today and thanks for visiting!

Have a great day!
