Without the rain - there are no rainbows...

Hi There...

Christine here from Cards by Christine with a new card for you today, using the lovely 'Katy Without the Rain'.  I coloured her with my Copic Markers and then fussy cut her so that she stands slightly away from the card.  I used a stencil and Stormy Sky Distress Ink to create a gentle background for her giving the impression of rain, but I didn't want it to detract from the image so kept it delicate.

After colouring, I dotted her umbrella with a broad tipped Sharpie Poster Paint Pen in white - to match the dots on the cardstock.   I thought the edges of the white card needed something extra too, so I doodled with a fine-tipped black pen along each side.  I then added the sentiments and it was done - a relatively simple card, but with words that are so true - it would be perfect to send to someone going through a rough patch.

Thanks for dropping by today, hope you'll be back tomorrow for more inspiration...

Have a great week and Happy Crafting..

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share.

I stamped and colored Dorothy with Copic markers, adding her on pop dots to a Stitched Circle Die.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment and added a cloud border cut with the Spring Dies 2.

Congratultions - Eloise & Tommy Get Married

Hello Friends! Stephen here from Stampin' Steve. I am popping in today to share a wedding card I made using Eloise - Congratulations as well as Tommy - Way To Go. I wanted to  create a clean and simple shaker card that showcases both these super cute images. I started with a A2 sized card front and adhered a diagonal stripped pattern paper to the left hand side. I then Die cut out the window using the Stitched Dome Frames from MFT. I used the same die and cut out another frame but this time out a white glitter paper. I adhered a piece of clear acetate on the backside of the card front and then glued the glitter frame I cut out on the front. I popped my card front up with a double layer of foam tape onto another piece of card stock that I ink blended some Victorian Velvet Distress Ink on. I filled the card with a bunch of coordinating sequins, prills, and beads.
I coloured Eloise and Tommy with my Copic markers and then adhered them to my card front. I stamped the sentiment that came with Eloise on a a thin piece of paper that I cut into a banner shape. To finish off my card, I added some Nuvo drops around then sentient in the colour Silver Linings.
I hope you like my card creation!

Until next time - Stephen

Hi there, Nicole here today to share a card I recently created.  I made this one specifically for a bridal shower I was attending using the Eloise Congratulations stamp.

Stamping On A Box

Hello everyone, it's Ellen here. This is my first personal SAT blog post (woop woop), so here we go. Today I want to show you how to get a stamp from one side to the other side of a box. For this project you need a misti tool or something like that and of course a StampAnniething Stamp. I'm useing Violet Sweet As Can Be.

1. First stamp your stamp and remember to cover all fold lines with post it notes.
2. Then put your transparency on the exact spot of your stamp (I'm talking about the transparency from the stamp packaging with the print on) and use the magnet to put it down.
3. After step two we put the post it notes on the transparency, again where the image stops/fold lines are. After that you can also put everything aside.

4. Turn your box on the side you want the image go further. Put the transparency with the post it notes on it. Match the post it notes perfectly with the sides of your box.
5. Match your stamp with the transparency and place it on the "top flap" of your Misti tool.
6. Take the transparency away and stamp on.

This is how it looks when you put the box together.

Of course the box also needs a perfect sentiment.

I really like the final result. Hopefully you thought it was interesting to read. See you at the next release!
