Stamp Annie Thing: Paige-Shall We Dance

Happy Valentine's Day!! Nicole here today to share a card with you. We are still in our "theme week" for this month and this month's theme is "pretty in pink". Here is my card -

Because there is so much going on already with the background, I chose not to put a sentiment on the front of my card. Honestly, it is nice to have a few blank cards on hand that can be used for a variety of situations - birthday, thank you, just because - and I feel like this one could be used for several different opportunities. Ballerina Birthday Easel Card

Hi folks!! Nicole here from "teachdanz" with a fun birthday easel card to share with you! I love making easel cards because they are really easy to make but they look so impressive ;)

I created this card for a friend of mine who also happens to be a dance teacher like myself. She has gorgeous red hair and I wanted to try and make this sweet ballerina look like her. I am super happy with the results and will share my color combo with you at the end of the post!

The rest of my color inspiration came from the background papers I chose to use which happen to be from Doodlebug's "Sugar Shoppe" 6x6 paper pad. This is one of my all time favorites from Doodlebug! This sweet image - "Paige, Shall We Dance?" - is probably one of my favorite Stamp Anniething images!! It is hard to pick a favorite from so many wonderful images but the fact that I am a dance teacher may present a bit of a bias ;)!!

You're A Star

Hi there!! Nicole here from teachdanz with a fun card to share with you today. You might be able to guess by the name of my blog that I am a dance teacher! ;) so when I saw this sweet image from Paige, Shall We Dance I knew I had to have it!!

I colored her costume in a traditional ballet pink scheme and then added the blue background to help make the pink stand out more. The star sequins were something I had in my stash and they fit the color scheme perfectly. The sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp set.

September Theme Week ~ Day 4 : Cassandra

It's time for another Theme Week!
Black & White with burst of COLOR.

This is the sweet little Stamp Anniething ~ Paige : Shall We Dance. I colored her in with Copic Sketch Markers. And I cut the frame using the Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Rectangle Dies 2.
