Without the rain...

Hello My Crafty Friends!  It's Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's my day to post over at Stamp Anniething.  I'm loving making slimline cards!  I used the digital image ~ My Neighbor and then accented her with die cuts to create this scene card.

Without The Rain

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.

I used the Katy-Without The Rain stamp to create my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added a strip of decorative paper to the bottom.
 I stamped and cut the sentiment tags with the Banner Dies and layered them into the corner.

I half paper pieced/half colored Katy with Copic Markers and added her on pop dots.
To finish, I added some clouds to the background cut with the Land Of Oz Dies.

Katy - Without the Rain

Hi Friends!

I have a card to share with you today that is perfect for someone who needs a little pick me up.

I used the stamp set "Katy - Without the Rain" and coloured her with Copic markers.

The background was created using Distress Oxide inks and a white coloured pencil. Once completed, I diecut the background out using the shaker basics set 1 of dies and placed it on top of some pattern paper that accented the colours I used in my card design. lastly I added a few sequins and stamped the sentiment out and diecut it using the Banner Dies that recently came out.

I hope you like my card creation for today!

Without the Rain

Hello again! It's Meg here with you to show off some NEW Banner dies that we will have in the shop come Friday the 15th!!

If you are like me, and love using dies to cut out sentiments and add little details onto your designs, you don't want to miss these banner dies! There are lots of neat things you can do with this set!

For my project, I inked up Katy - Without the Rain, created a rainbow panel with some inks, and added my banners to create some visual interest. I also used some golden yellow enamel dots from the Magical Celebrations Grab and Go! Box.

Rain or Shine

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs up on the Stamp Anniething Blog with this cute card. It has been raining a lot where I live so I was inspired to create a rainy day scene on my card. I colored the Katy - Without the Rain and placed her on a background of rain drops. I found the stencil at Simon Says Stamp and added cloud dies from Stamp Anniething, Oz Dies. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom, Rain or Shine.

April Showers

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.  

I used the Katy-Without The Rain stamp set to create my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mat cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.

The clouds and water are cut from the Land Of Oz Dies and I used a white gel pen for accents.

I stamped and half paper pieced/half colored Katy with Copic markers and added her on pop dots.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment using the Springtime Greetings stamp set.

Without the rain - there are no rainbows...

Hi There...

Christine here from Cards by Christine with a new card for you today, using the lovely 'Katy Without the Rain'.  I coloured her with my Copic Markers and then fussy cut her so that she stands slightly away from the card.  I used a stencil and Stormy Sky Distress Ink to create a gentle background for her giving the impression of rain, but I didn't want it to detract from the image so kept it delicate.  

After colouring, I dotted her umbrella with a broad tipped Sharpie Poster Paint Pen in white - to match the dots on the cardstock.   I thought the edges of the white card needed something extra too, so I doodled with a fine-tipped black pen along each side.  I then added the sentiments and it was done - a relatively simple card, but with words that are so true - it would be perfect to send to someone going through a rough patch.
