Stencils, Oxide inks, and Water...Oh My!

Hi Friends! 

Today I am excited to get to kick off this months theme challenge. The challenge was to use a stencilled background in the projects creation. 

I coloured up Liberty - For a super girl with my Copic markers and cut her out and popped her up using some foam tape and placed her on top of my stencilled background. 

To create my background, I decided to play around with my oxide inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, and Abandoned Coral. Now rather then using a stencil traditionally, I decided to mist the back of my stencil with water and place it on top of the ink blended background. I let it sit for a few moments before I removed it and I got this really cool bubbly textured stencilled background. It is such a fun technique to try and really gives a different look to your stencils. Be sure to check out the amazing selection of stencils available in the Stamp AnnieThing online store.

Super Teacher!

It´s Noe from SCN here... This is my last post for Stamp Anniething so before I show you my project, I would like to thank Ann the confidence placed in me having chosen me as part of her amazing DT ... they have been months of great fun and I promise follow all the news releases!

And as everything comes to an end, the school also, so it's time to prepare thank-you cards for those teachers who care and teach our children ... Without a doubt, teachers should be the true heroes of our children! Dont´you think? And in that I was inspired to create this card ...

I used "Liberty- for a Super Girl" stamp from the SAT Shop.

For A Super Friend

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share. 

I used the Liberty-For A Super Girl stamp set for my card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the mats cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.

I created the multi-colored background with Tim Holtz inks and a blending tool.

I added the decorative edges to the bottom layers cut with the Border Dies 2.

I stamped and colored Liberty using Copic Markers and cut her out, adding her to the card base on pop dots.

I added a ribbon to the side and stamped the sentiment from the Super Hero 2 stamp set.

I love rainbows so this was a FUN challenge

 SVG Cutting Files I used Camper Trailer Scene Card for my card base, the Let it Rain for

 the rainbow and from Jaded Blossom I used Sweet Travels for the sentiment.

I thought it would be fun to color up and create this card using Liberty - for a Super Girl because I thought she was so perfect for the upcoming 4th of July! I used paper from Doodlebug Design to accent my stars and stripes and added some punched out clouds.

Super Girl!

Hello! Melissa here from Doxie Mel Designs with a new card.  I just loved the Starburst Card Shape that Annie used during our last release.  Liberty looks so darn cute on this card base. :)  The star die is from Jaded Blossom and the star fits Liberty's sentiment perfectly. She is colored with Copic Markers.
