Melanie - You're Sassy

Hi Friends!

Stephen here to share another card creation. This time I created a bright and cheery card that anyone can whip up in no time. 

Today I decided to use and colour up "Melanie - You're Sassy" using Copic Markers. If I am being honest, I wasn't super happy with how I coloured her dress...so I added some white dots using a white gel pen to help cover up what I didn't like.

I used various dies from my collection to create a simple card layout. To add some more interest to my card, I stamped the sentiment that comes with the stamp set repeatedly using a similar ink colour as the card stock to get a tone on tone effect. To finished off my card, I added some green Nuvo Drops for a fun touch.

This is the sweet little Stamp Anniething ~ Melanie : You're Sassy.  I colored her hair and skin with Copic Sketch Markers.  The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Elegant Holiday Greetings.  And for her pretty dress I added Firefly ~ Stickles.  The beautiful tree is a die cut I received from a friend.  And for the snowy hills, I added some Star Dust ~ Stickles.

Well my creative friends, that's it for me today.  And it's also my very last project for the Stamp Anniething Design Team.  I want to send a big Thank You to Annie and all my Design Team sisters.  And also a big Thank You to all of YOU as well.  It's been a crazy couple of years and the decision to step down from all my Design Teams was a difficult one,  but I know it was the right thing to do. This is the sweet little Stamp Anniething ~ Melanie : You're Sassy.  I colored her in with Copic Sketch Markers.  I cut the background with the Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Oval Dies.  The sentiment at the bottom is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Hey Chickie.  And the hearts are from the Jaded Blossom ~ Valentine Treat Tag.

Now, I'm going to have to let you in on a little secret: Melanie might be one of my favorite stamps in my Stamp Anniething collection (shhh! Don't tell the other girls I said so!).  She's so super easy to color (even for the timid beginner!) AND she's super easy to paper piece (for those colorers who need a break from coloring!). I just LOVE her!

Hello! Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new card to celebrate 2016 with you!   I colored Melanie with Copic markers and added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom. She is one of my favorites to color because I love the sweep of her hair. Something new I wanted to try this year is making videos for you. Three days later I have a video... and my daughters can't stop laughing at my video debut. Sheesh. To be honest, I laughed at myself too. Kudos to all the crafty peeps that make videos on a regular basis :)

 here Stamp Anniething!!! I hope you all had a GREAT Christmas with your family and friends. We did, but my parents didn't have hydro so we spent Christmas day at my house. We usually have brunch here and then we all go to there place for the rest of the day. It is just next door. I think it was fine!!! :)

Hello everyone! This is Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra.  Can you believe Christmas is next week already???  Eek!

This is the sweet Stamp Anniething ~ Melanie : You're Sassy.  I colored her in with Copic Sketch Markers. The card base is made with Papertrey Ink cardstock.  And the other papers are from the Doodlebug Design ~ Sugar Plums collection.  I cut the background with the Jaded Blossom ~ Card Mat Dies.  The red piece is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Scallop Oval Dies.  The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Christmas Candies (revamp).

Hello Everyone!  Mel from Doxie Mel Designs with a new card for you today. I needed to make a few birthday cards and thought the adorable Melanie stamp from Stamp AnnieThing would be perfect for the occasion.  She is colored with Copic and Spectrum Noir  markers and I added a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's "So Many Birthdays" set. Her dress skirt was paper pieced.

Hello everyone!  It's Cassandra from Creating with Color by Cassandra. And today I have a fun baby shower card and gift card set.

Isn't she sweet?  The solid colors of cardstock are from Papertrey Ink. And the fun patterned papers are from the Echo Park ~ Bundle of Joy collection.

This little sweetie is the Stamp Anniething ~ Melanie : You're Sassy.  I colored her in with Copic Sketch Markers.  I cut the background mat with the Jaded Blossom ~ Card Mat Dies.  The brown piece is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Fancy Topper Die.  The light blue piece is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Goody Bag Die.  And the scallop shape is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Spring Dies.  The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom ~ Sweet Baby.

For the gift card, I used the SVG Cutting Files ~ Mini Gift Card Envelope Fold Over Holder.  The label is cut with the Jaded Blossom ~ Mini Tag Dies 2.  And the sentiment is also from the Jaded Blossom ~ Sweet Baby.

Sunshiny Days

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun card to share. 

I used the NEW Melanie-You're Sassy stamp set on this card.

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mat cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.
I cut the smaller mat using the Goody Bag Die and inked it with some Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
I cut the fence piece from the SVG Cutting File Fence Platform Box and added it to the side over the mat.
I stamped and colored Melanie with Copic Markers and pop dotted he onto the card.
To finish, I cut the sun using the Jaded Blossom Spring Dies 2 and pop dotted the layers. I cut the sentiment banner from the Flag Dies 2 and stamped the sentiment from the Annie-Sunshiny Days stamp set.
